Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a beautiful princess named Snow White. She had skin as fair as snow, lips as red as roses, and hair as black as ebony. But Snow White’s beauty stirred jealousy in the heart of her stepmother, the wicked Queen.
The Queen’s envy knew no bounds, and she would often ask her magic mirror, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” And the mirror would always reply, “You, my queen, are fair; it’s true. But Snow White is even fairer than you.”
Enraged by the mirror’s response, the Queen plotted to rid herself of Snow White. She ordered a huntsman to take the princess deep into the forest and to kill her. However, when the huntsman saw Snow White’s innocence and beauty, he couldn’t bring himself to harm her. Instead, he let her go, warning her never to return to the castle.
Lost and frightened in the forest, Snow White stumbled upon a small cottage. She entered and found it to be empty, but tidy. There were seven small beds, a kitchen, and a living area. Tired from her journey, Snow White fell asleep on one of the beds.
Later, the owners of the cottage returned home – seven dwarfs who mined for jewels in the nearby mountains. When they found Snow White asleep in their bed, they were surprised but soon realized that she was in need of help. They welcomed her into their home, and Snow White gratefully accepted their kindness.
Meanwhile, back at the castle, the Queen discovered that Snow White was still alive. Enraged, she concocted a plan to disguise herself as an old peddler woman and poison Snow White with a cursed apple. With the apple in hand, the Queen set off for the dwarfs’ cottage.
When the Queen arrived at the cottage, she found Snow White alone. Pretending to be a kind old woman, she offered Snow White the poisoned apple. Despite the dwarfs’ warnings, Snow White took a bite of the apple and fell into a deep slumber.
Heartbroken, the dwarfs placed Snow White in a glass coffin and mourned her untimely death. They vowed to keep watch over her, hoping that one day, a prince would come to break the curse.
As fate would have it, a prince did come – a young prince who had heard of Snow White’s beauty and kindness. When he saw her lying in the glass coffin, he was struck by her beauty and fell deeply in love with her.
Unable to bear the thought of never seeing Snow White again, the prince kissed her gently on the lips. And in that moment, Snow White awoke from her slumber, the curse broken by true love’s kiss.
Overjoyed, the prince declared his love for Snow White, and she accepted his proposal of marriage. The dwarfs rejoiced at the news, and a grand wedding was held in the kingdom.
As Snow White and the prince exchanged vows, the wicked Queen watched from afar, consumed by jealousy and rage. But her reign of terror had come to an end, and Snow White and her prince lived happily ever after, ruling the kingdom with kindness and compassion.
